On March 30, Fernando Chui Said On, Chief Executive of Macau Special Administration Region met visiting HQU delegation headed by President Qiu Jin.

        President Qiu expressed his sincere thanks to the Chief Executive and his former for their long-term support and briefed the HQU’s basic information. On behalf of the Overseas Affairs Office of State Council, President Qiu invited Chui to be the Vice President of the Board of Trustees of HQU and visit HQU during the Golden Jubilee.

        The Chief Executive accepted the invitation to be the Vice President of the board with pleasure and said he will try to attend the 50^th anniversary of HQU. Chui fully affirmed the progress that HQU has made. In particular, he pointed out that HQU has cultivated many talents for Macau, especially a batch of outstanding public servant for Macau SAR Government.

       The Chief Executive also expressed that the new SAR government would support the development of HQU as usual, and hoped that friendly relations between the parties could be raised to a higher level.
